RENTHAL TRACTION LOCK-ON GRIP ARAMID

These grips combine the Traction structure and the lifespan of the Kevlar component.

As with all the brand’s high-end grips, they feature CNC aluminium locking collars built directly into the handle frame. This manufacturing process eliminates any play between the handle body and the collars on each grip.

The grips feature millions of randomly aligned Kevlar® Aramid particles in the material. This results in increased adhesion over time, the more the Aramid resin is exposed, the more the grip increases. The feeling is less sticky than with the UltraTacky™ compound, so it is up to the rider to choose which works best for them.

The structure of the Traction handle is made to maximise control whatever the conditions. The grip pattern is specifically designed to optimise precision.

• Finger patterns face forward to prevent slips and provide a better feel when pulling up on the handlebars.
• Angled palm grooves face backwards to increase grip on braking sections where it's all about the palm.
• Grooves and ridges are uniform across the width of the handle to provide grip regardless of hand position.
• Open end of the handle to evacuate mud in the event of a fall in wet conditions.
• Grip material in the palm area is thicker to maximise cushioning and thinner in the finger area to maintain the same diameter all around the grip.
