EX 511 is the name of the rim fitted to the best-known DT SWISS enduro wheel, the EX 1700.
This wheel benefits from a custom assembly for which we have carefully chosen all the components to provide the best where solidity and lightweight performance are concerned.
This top-of-the-range build makes the EX 511 an ultra-efficient enduro wheel that will handle all trails in all conditions. For this, DT SWISS has opted for a welded rim connection, a process that gives more strength. The 28 spoke holes reduces the total weight without weakening the structure and the stiffness thanks to the Competition Spokes with variable thickness.
The 350 hub was the most logical choice for us because it has already proven itself on our bikes with DT SWISS wheels. The minimalist and technical design reduces the final weight while optimising rolling performance.
This version sees a Ratchet SL 54t system, the most precise for mountain biking. This system ensures hyper-responsive pedal recovery and excellent load distribution.
The freehub body is compatible with the SRAM XD standard.
A very good wheel for all-round use, from trail to enduro and even Bike Park sessions, we consider the EX 511 to be the ultimate all-round mountain bike wheel.
