The Minion DHR II needs no introduction. This aggressive tyre has delighted many riders with enlarged DHF-derived rubber knobs that provide superior cornering traction. The central tread has bevelled knobs in two strips which promote acceleration through corners. They also contribute to braking efficiency by anchoring themselves to the ground during sudden braking.
The Double Down casing has two layers of 120 TPI with a lateral Butyl insert on the sidewalls. This structure ensures solidity with less weight compared to DH casing. This construction also offers more sensitive ground contact and a better feel.
The 3C MAXXGRIP 3-component compound is logic for an enduro rear wheel. It provides optimal support when cornering thanks to the exceptional flexibility. This 29'' version is a great front tyre for enduro.
The Wide Trail construction optimises the position of the tyre and its efficiency on modern rims (30 to 35 mm internal width). This contributes to better grip and roll.
