The UNION Explorer is a splitboard binding designed to provide a natural, comfortable feel similar to a regular snowboard binding, with a focus on downhill performance and ease of use for backcountry touring. Key features include a lightweight and durable SP2 Duraflex CB baseplate, a responsive EXP2 Duraflex ST highback with an instant-adjust FLAD, and a simplified transition system that makes it quick to switch between walk and ride modes. The binding also includes a split-specific quiver disk, so it can be used on both split and solid boards.
