A CLASH FOR YOUR CHILD?
Designed for young riders who want to do everything like their idols, the CLASH KIDS are the children's versions of our CLASH. The kinematics specifically engineered for lightweight riders provides all the comfort and grip needed on the most demanding terrains.
According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.
When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.
Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
Our kinematics are the result of advanced engineering for optimal working harmony of front and rear suspension with our bikes.
This guide is aimed to help understand exactly how things work and set everything up so that your COMMENCAL functions in the best way.
