With this new XT M8120 brake, SHIMANO has improved a 4-piston design that has already proven itself.
The lever features a new handlebar clamp system, providing increased rigidity during hard braking. It also features adjustments for pad clearance and engagement, as in the previous model.
The caliper undergoes a complete redesign too, based on the higher-end XTR model.
These XT M8120 brakes are perfect for riders looking for a very responsive touch and powerful, easy-to-bleed brakes.
The SM-RT86 rotors benefit from ICE technology, which a braking surface composed of an aluminum layer between two layers of stainless steel, to minimize heat buildup and delay fading. The central aluminum star provides weight savings and rigidity.
