DT SWISS FR 541-350 12x157 27.5" HG REAR WHEEL

This custom DH wheel is fitted with the same rim as the latest DT SWISS FR 1500 wheel, the FR 541.

With a design based around the EX-511, there is a weight saving of 30g compared to the old FR 560. To achieve this result, the Swiss brand relied on the PHR system which combines a study of the rim shape, washers, and nipples in order to reduce stress and automatically align the nipples to the spokes. This system also acts on the strength of the spokes and limits the risk of rim cracks.

Lighter, this new rim nevertheless offers better guarantees of resistance to impacts and risks of pinch flats. This is thanks to the freshly designed side-flanges and a larger contact ‘patch’ with the tyres.

The use of the 350 hub on this custom version allows us to offer a top-of-the-range wheel with a very reliable hub system recognized in the industry as an indisputable benchmark for reliability.

The freehub body is equipped with the Ratchet System EXP 36 which is particularly precise and offers direct engagement for more efficiency when getting back onto the pedals.
