Garret MECHEM is a young American rider who joined COMMENCAL USA in 2021. A native of Aptos in California, he became known when riding the Post Office Trail, a legendary spot that inspired several generations of pro riders between 2000 and 2015. With such an epic spot near his home, Garret logically turned to dirt, although he also rides enduro and downhill on his UCSC home trails. In 2020, Garret aka Lil Rojo, was elected Rookie of the Year by the FMB thanks to his impressive style and big risk-taking. He regularly competes against the best Slopestylers on the planet by participating in the Crankworx World Tour and winning the Speed & Style in Whistler in 2023.
