SUPREME DH V5 SETTINGS GUIDE

COMMENCAL SUPREME DH V5 SIGNATURE CLEAR SILVER

Unmatched Suspension with FOX Technology

The SUPREME DH V5 SIGNATURE model is equipped with top-tier components, including the FOX 40 Factory fork. Designed for the rigors of downhill racing, this fork offers adjustable valves to equalize pressure, a GRIP 2 hydraulic cartridge with four tuning channels, and the Float Evol air spring—ensuring flawless suspension performance every time you ride.

On the rear, the FOX Float X2 Factory shock provides unbeatable sensitivity and heat resistance, performing consistently on the longest, most demanding tracks.

Precision Braking and Control
To keep you in control at high speeds, the TRP DH-R Evo brakes deliver exceptional stopping power. Used by World Cup champion Amaury Pierron, these brakes are known for their power, durability, and precision, making them a must-have for serious downhill riders.

Race-Ready Components
The E13 Grappler Race wheels are built for the toughest downhill courses, with a freehub body integrated into the cassette for improved lateral stiffness and enhanced control. Meanwhile, the SRAM GX DH drivetrain ensures fast, ultra-precise gear shifts, crucial for competitive downhill racing.

Unbeatable Traction with SCHWALBE Tires
Finally, the SCHWALBE Tacky Chan Super DH tires, developed in collaboration with the COMMENCAL MUC-OFF team, are designed to tackle even the most challenging tracks. With Ultra Soft rubber and a Super DH casing, these tires provide the grip and durability needed for high-speed descents on rough terrain.

Elevate Your Downhill Experience
Whether you're racing at the highest level or pushing your limits on local trails, the SUPREME DH V5 SIGNATURE delivers world-class performance. Optimized for speed, control, and adaptability, this bike is your ultimate partner for conquering the most demanding downhill courses.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
