CHECK OUT THE 365

The 365 is designed for off-road gravel tracks and fun trails. Rider control, handling and comfort take pride of place because before being just a gravel bike, this is a COMMENCAL bike. The geometry is versatile, and the components are designed and chosen to accommodate the most technical terrain. It has true MTB DNA, but everything has been put in place to bring more comfort and manoeuvrability. It will take you everywhere, from work and back to a bike-packing adventure, including a road session along the way!

With carbon being no more nor less than a plastic composite, there is no way that we will use this material. We have banned it for 10 years to focus our efforts on aluminium processes. COMMENCAL is therefore a past master in the handling of alloys. The technical solutions and the tubes used make it possible to produce a frame that is light, dynamic, and comfortable at the same time.

COMMENCAL 365 RACE FROZEN BROWN

Not content with being able to take you everywhere, the 365 RACE is also equipped with a dropper seat post which allows a lower centre of gravity and more confidence on the downhills.

SHIMANO handles the shifting and braking. The 365 RACE thus benefits from the most prestigious version of the GRX 11-speed group specific to gravel: the RX810.

The DT SWISS G 1800 Spline wheels are combined with their gravel-specific rims and the Swiss brand's 370 hubs for strength and reliability all-round. They are tubeless compatible so you can ride at the pressure that suits you and protect yourself from punctures as much as possible.

The 365 RACE is fitted with MAXXIS Rambler 700x45c (650bx47c in size XS) tyres for healthy grip across the entire profile.

Like all COMMENCAL bikes, the 365 is equipped with a cockpit combining a short stem and wide handlebars. The SPANK Flare 25 handlebar makes it easier to engage the bike and the short stem helps maintain exemplary manoeuvrability.

To enhance the behaviour of the 365 RACE we have given it a KS Lev Si dropper seat post. It's the essential tool for enjoying descents in complete safety. It's activated via the left lever to avoid polluting the cockpit.

The finer points of the 365 have benefited from special attention. The 3mm thick handlebar tape perfectly filters vibrations and offers very good support.

With long rides in mind, we chose the FIZIK Terra Alpaca X5 saddle. It offers great lumbar support thanks to its shape and the central section is hollowed out to limit pressure in the wrong places.

You can also attach a dedicated multi-tool and two CO2 cartridges under the saddle, thanks to the Alpaca Tool Carrier, sold separately.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
