CHECK OUT THE FRS
Unleash Your Freeride Potential
The COMMENCAL FRS is built for riders who crave the thrill of freeride and downhill adventures. This bike is your go-to for lapping bike parks, mastering technical descents, and launching huge whips on steep trails. Designed with 27.5" wheels, it offers exceptional ground contact, giving you a confident, predictable ride as you tackle every jump and berm. Whether you're hitting Moab's Whole Enchilada or carving down the alpine trails at Whistler Mountain Bike Park, the FRS adapts to any challenge.
Engineered for Versatility
With its adaptable suspension system, the FRS allows you to fine-tune your ride. Choose the Sensitive position for maximum grip on rocky, technical terrain, or switch to the Responsive position when you need a lively, nimble ride through flowy sections at places like Trestle Bike Park or Angel Fire.
HOW TO ADJUST THE KINEMATICS
COMMENCAL FRS PARK PURE WHITE
Built for the Park
The FRS PARK edition is designed specifically for bike park riders. The ROCKSHOX BoXXer fork, with its DebonAir+ air spring and Charger 3 RC cartridge, provides precision rebound and low-speed compression adjustments, perfect for dialing in your setup for the harsh drops at Mammoth Mountain or the technical lines at Kingdom Trails.
Precision in Every Component
Equipped with a Super Deluxe Coil Select shock, the FRS offers impeccable sensitivity paired with mid-stroke support, ensuring a smooth ride whether you're hitting big drops at Highland Mountain Bike Park or shredding through berms at Mountain Creek in New Jersey. The SRAM GX DH transmission ensures fast, precise gear changes when you need them most, while the TRP DH-R Evo brakes provide unrivaled stopping power, with 203mm discs that handle steep, technical terrain like a pro.
The DT SWISS wheels are tough enough for endless bike park laps, and the SCHWALBE Magic Mary tires—designed with dual-density compounds—offer grip and extended tread life, giving you the confidence to push harder on every run.
Whether you're training for the next Red Bull Rampage or simply looking for a bike that excels at Whistler, Moab, or Trestle, the FRS PARK has you covered.

2 positions
All lengths in millimeters.
According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.
When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.
Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
Our kinematics are the result of advanced engineering for optimal working harmony of front and rear suspension with our bikes.
This guide is aimed to help understand exactly how things work and set everything up so that your COMMENCAL functions in the best way.
