CHECK OUT THE T.E.M.P.O.

The T.E.M.P.O. is made for those who like to ride endlessly. Ultra-efficient and full of character, it offers 125mm of rear travel with a 140mm fork. Perfect for lapping climbs, it is dynamic on hilly single track and brings confidence on descents. This is possible thanks to our new virtual pivot kinematic which unlocks the full potential of the bike.

As Mike Kazimer from the Pinkbike says:
The T.E.M.P.O. is a trail bike in the truest sense of the term, well suited to spinning out the miles while also goofing off and hitting every lip and landing possible.

COMMENCAL T.E.M.P.O. ÖHLINS EDITION CHALK

This T.E.M.P.O. ÖHLINS EDITION benefits from all the suspension know-how of the Swedish brand and the set up that brings generous travel.

The RXF 36 m.2 fork benefits from a fool proof chassis for precise steering. The Ramp Up chamber of the air spring means the rider can adjust the progressiveness at the end of the stroke and the TTX hydraulic cartridge allows you to adjust the high and low speed compression as well as the rebound.

The ÖHLINS TTX1Air rear shock is designed for trail bikes. It benefits from numerous adjustments: air volume, spring rate, high and low speed compression, or even lockout. In collaboration with ÖHLINS we worked on a specific damper which unlocks the full potential of the Virtual Contact System.

With the Trail EVO, TRP offers powerful and reliable four-piston brakes that benefit from lessons learned from downhill World Cups.

SRAM manages the 12-speed transmission with the GX Eagle group and 10-52t gear set to get everywhere.

The Synthesis Enduro I9 aluminium CRANKBROTHERS wheels are built around excellent INDUSTRY NINE hubs, where the stiffness is differentiated between the front and the rear to optimize grip and handling on one side, and the performance and the stability of the other.

The MAXXIS Minion DHR II and Dissector tyres contribute to the performance of the wheels, while optimizing grip thanks to the MaxxGrip rubber on the front.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
