The latest addition to the SCHWALBE range has been the subject of close development work between our COMMENCAL teams and the German brand.
Designed and developed with feedback from athletes, there is a clear gain in speed and precision with this tyre. The TACKY CHAN is an aggressive, dynamic tyre that rolls better than SCHWALBE's most comparable tyre, the MAGIC MARY. It's just as at home on dry and rocky surfaces as it is on loose and/or muddy terrain.
Depending on level and preference you can choose different assembly options:
• Front and rear for an experienced rider looking for maximum performance.
• Rear in combination with a MAGIC MARY for the best tolerance/efficiency ratio.
ADDIX ULTRA SOFT rubber:
Flexible, it offers the best grip and optimises cornering control. Its behaviour on wet/soft ground is very satisfactory and has already been race tested in different configurations.
Construction details:
• SUPER DOWNHILL 6-layer polyamide casing under the tread.
• 1 layer of SNAKE SKIN reinforcement which protects the sidewalls from cuts.
• 2 layers of APEX reinforcement on the lower part of the sidewalls for protection and stability.
• 1 layer of CHAFER reinforcement which protects the tyre/rim contact zone.
Lug pattern:
• Shorter and more closed side blocks than on the MAGIC MARY.
• Centre blocks spread open.
• Tight centre blocks that promote braking and rolling efficiency.
