RENTHAL Traction Lock-On UltraTacky™ grips provide the best quality grip possible.
As with all the brand’s high-end grips, they feature CNC aluminium locking collars built directly into the handle frame. This manufacturing process eliminates any play between the handle body and the collars on each grip.
The UltraTacky™ compound provides quite exceptional sticky-grip effect. The surface of the grips increase control while reducing fatigue in the hands. The compound constantly produces and renews a sticky surface coating. Wet or dry conditions, with or without gloves, these grips still offer the same level of performance and fantastic control when riding.
The structure of the Traction handle is made to maximise control whatever the conditions. The grip pattern is specifically designed to optimise precision.
• Finger patterns face forward to prevent slips and provide a better feel when pulling up on the handlebars.
• Angled palm grooves face backwards to increase grip on braking sections where it's all about the palm.
• Grooves and ridges are uniform across the width of the handle to provide grip regardless of hand position.
• Open end of the handle to evacuate mud in the event of a fall in wet conditions.
• Grip material in the palm area is thicker to maximise cushioning and thinner in the finger area to maintain the same diameter all around the grip.
