DT SWISS FR 1500-240 VORDERRAD 27.5 20 X 110

The FR 1500 is the latest DH wheel from DT SWISS. Inspired by the EX 511 enduro rim, the brand-new FR 541 rim is 30g lighter than the old model. This is thanks to the PHR system which combines a study of the rim shape, washers, and nipples in order to reduce stress and automatically align the nipples to the spokes. This system also acts on the strength of the spokes and limits the risk of rim cracks.

Despite this lighter structure, this new rim offers better guarantees of resistance to impacts and risks of pinch flats, thanks to the freshly designed side-flanges and a larger contact ‘patch’ with the tyres.

And the hub? What better for a high-end wheel than the DT SWISS 240? Light, silent, fluid and particularly resistant, in a way it’s an improved version of the 350.

This is a new technology which lives up the reputation of DT SWISS for all MTB practices.
