settings guide
The SUPREME DH V5 is a race machine with no compromises, made to go fast whatever the track. For this reason, frame settings are adjustable depending on various factors, like terrain conditions or simply just your preferences. Follow our guide!
These recommendations are indeed recommendations. The best settings are the ones where you feel most comfortable on the bike.
SUSPENSION KINEMATICS
A flip chip at the shock anchor allows adjustment of the suspension kinematics. It has four settings that can be adapted depending on how you ride or what you’re riding. More linear with forward anchoring, more progressive with rear anchoring.
WHAT POSITION TO CHOOSE

HIGH AND LINEAR POSITION
➔ DRIVE SIDE

CHAIN STAY LENGTH
As an option, the SUPREME DH V5 has an insert to adjust the chain stay length and vary the balance of the frame. The bike is originally delivered with an intermediate setting to cope with as many situations as possible.
WHAT POSITION TO CHOOSE
LONG CHAIN STAYS
+6 MM
➔ DRIVE SIDE
More grip through turns, more weight on the front, ideal for fast and gentle slopes.
INTERMEDIATE CHAIN STAYS
0 MM
➔ DRIVE SIDE
Compromise between long and short chain stays, for very varied slopes.
(Insert delivered with purchase)
SHORT CHAIN STAYS
-6 MM
➔ DRIVE SIDE
Livelier, less weight on the front, preferred for slow and steep tracks.
REINFORCMENT BRIDGES
Depending on your weight, the terrain, your level, or the weather conditions, you have the option of changing the thickness of the bridge of your SUPREME DH V5 to modify its behaviour.
WHICH BRIDGE?
Our SUPREME DH V5 models are originally delivered with the following bridges:
SIZES XS/S
THIN BRIDGE
SIZES M/L
MEDIUM BRIDGE
SIZE XL
THICK BRIDGE
To improve grip in precarious conditions, for better reading of the terrain or for easy bike, there is the option of a thinner bridge.
The SUPREME DH V5 will gain flex with this option.
For lightweight riders and beginners, with smoothest riding.
For more precision and dynamism, when there is a lot of grip or when pushing hard, the rider can opt for a thicker bridge.
The SUPREME DH V5 will therefore become stiffer.
For heavy riders or those who apply heavy force.
