The first key point to consider is the HEIGHT OF YOUR CHILD, as well as their inseam. Their feet must touch the ground once seated on the saddle.
We indicate the minimum saddle height of our mountain bikes for this reason. It must correspond at least to your child’s stand over height.
You can take these measurements at home with your child wearing shoes and by making sure their back and heels are against a wall.
The second key point to consider is the MOTOR SKILLS OF YOUR CHILD.
This is even more important between toddlers with whom there can be significant differences.
Your child must be able to get on and off the push bike or pedal the bike on their own.
