A RAMONES hard tail is designed to be your child's first real MTB. Our RAMONES 14, 16, 20 and 24 models are easy to use, low in weight and perform exactly how they should. With or without stabilizers, the RAMONES are perfect for family outings in the forest. For increased safety they are equipped with disc brakes. Depending on the wheel size these models are suitable for children measuring between 95cm and 140cm/3.1 ft and 4.7ft.

The RAMONES 16 is designed with the same attention to detail as our adult bikes. The result is an uncompromising balance bike with the look of a real mountain.

The aluminium frame and fork keep the weight low while being robust to stand up to the onslaught of kids!

The RAMONES 16 is equipped with a single speed transmission to facilitate learning to pedal and limit maintenance.

The length of the cranks is adapted to ensure perfect ergonomics to make this learning process easier.

VEE TIRE CrownGem tyres combine large volume with a grippy profile. They offer comfort and safety whatever the terrain surface.

The RIDE ALPHA cockpit is specifically developed by us to suit the shoulder width and hand size of toddlers. The diameter means it is possible to fit 19mm diameter grips, perfectly suited for kids.

This RAMONES 16 comes with a TEKTRO Aries disc brake on the front which is equipped with levers designed for little hands. On the back there is a coaster braking system which is ideal for stopping safely but also for pulling their first skids!

Australian/New Zealand Standards for Pedal Bicycles – Safety Requirements’ (AS/NZS 1927:1998) as adopted under the Product Safety Standard (Pedal Bicycle) Regulations 2000 (Regulations)
"Under the safety standard, pedal bicycles must be fitted with not less than two brakes and on a child’s pedal bicycle (child’s bicycle), one brake shall be a back pedal brake [coaster brake]. A child’s bicycle is defined as a bicycle having a wheelbase of between 640mm and 765mm.”
