The META POWER TR is designed for the ride. With 140mm of travel it's easy to tame and is forgiving to the rider. Dynamic and playful, it ensures effective pedalling thanks to excellent geometry. The straightened seat tube and long front-end ideally positions the rider between the two wheel axles. The 29-inch wheels allow you to tackle the most technical climbs. This is the bike for those who like long rides and enjoying letting go of the brakes on the downhill.

META POWER TR RACE

The electric capacity of this META POWER TR has increased tenfold thanks to the SHIMANO EP8 motor with a 630Wh battery.

It features RockShox suspension which is perfect for real trail riding. On the front, the Lyrik Select+ fork with 150mm travel and 35mm upper tubes offers all the essential adjustments. The Deluxe Select+ shock allows easy and quick adaption of the behaviour of your bike in accordance with body shape, level of riding and what the day ahead looks like.

The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain features a large 10-52t gear set and with such reliability and precision, you'll be able to tackle climbs in peace and with panache. We opted for short 160mm cranks to make pedalling up steeper trails easier thanks to more ground clearance. SRAM Guide RE brakes with 220mm rotors ensure power and longevity. Finally, the DT SWISS H1900 e-bike specific wheels are designed to withstand the harshest impacts. The perfect bike for real adventures.

    In partnership with SHIMANO, COMMENCAL supports a voluntary battery recycling program for ebike batteries. For each META POWER sold COMMENCAL will contribute 7EUR to fundraising organisation COREPILE. This sum is paid through SHIMANO France. When your battery reaches the end of its life, it would be great if you could send it back to us for recycling. Contact us for more info on the procedure.

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
