HOW TO ADJUST THE KINEMATICS

FRS ÖHLINS EDITION PURE WHITE

The FRS ÖHLINS EDITION features the best suspension from the legendary Swedish brand ÖHLINS.

The DH38 m.1 Air fork combines an ultra-precise chassis with an air spring. It has a specific chamber to adjust progressiveness at the end of the stroke and a hydraulic cartridge with three adjustment settings.

The TTX22m.2 shock absorber is one of the best rear suspension offerings for downhill riding. Used by many pros, the sensitivity and support are difficult to beat.

Brakes are managed by TRP, with a pair of four-piston DH-R EVO. They are effective with a firm and aggressive feel.

This model rolls on a pair of custom DT SWISS wheels with the F1900 downhill rims, solid and dynamic, combined with heavy-duty 370 hubs.

The SRAM GX DH transmission offers ultra-precise and quick gear changes for DH and Bike Park.

Finally, a pair of MAXXIS MINION and ASSEGAI tyres with DH casing provide phenomenal grip for this ÖHLINS EDITION.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
