COMMENCAL X MILKIT

When we develop a product, we reduce its impact on the environment as much as possible without compromising on performance. Our tubeless sealant liquid is made from natural latex and the bottle is made from recycled PET. It’s made in Switzerland by our partner MILKIT, a brand that shares the same values as us. It could not be otherwise.

The biggest advantage of COMMENCAL X MILKIT tubeless sealant is that it always remains at a consistent viscosity. No need to shake it before use, you will always have the right ratio between the product and the anti-puncture sealing particles. This formula also ensures an extended lifespan, and the liquid remains in the tyre for between 6 and 9 months.

Once open, the sealant will keep for 5 years. It is also one of the only tubeless liquids that does not contain ammonia (which can be corrosive to equipment).

Alongside the sealant, another strong point of the COMMENCAL X MILKIT kit is the valve/syringe. Thanks to a rubber insert located at the end of each valve, they do not clog up, do not lose air, and do not let the liquid leak, even when the core has been removed.

The liquid should be added using the syringe specifically supplied with the kit.

Equipped with an open and close valve, it’s also to check the quantity of product already inside the tyre and readjust it if necessary.

Thanks to its exclusive valve/syringe set, the COMMENCAL X MILKIT kit is the essential tool for fitting your tubeless tyres. This package will really help to stop splattering of sticky white sealant in the garage or your kitchen.

Useful tips

1 - Completely assemble your tyre without adding any sealant.

2 - Remove the valve core and inflate your tyre until the bead pops on the rim. With the anti-return system, the air does not escape through the valve even if the core is out.

3 - To add sealant or measure the remaining quantity, make sure that the pressure in the tyre does not exceed 1.5 bar. If necessary, remove air after inflating. This is necessary to allow insertion of the liquid without mess.

4 - Assemble and then fill the syringe with the amount of sealant needed. Close the valve and insert the tip of the syringe into the tyre through the valve. It must be in contact with the bottom of the tyre.

5 - Open the valve and press the syringe to push the liquid through. Close the tap when finished.

6 - Reinstall the valve core, adjust your tyre pressure to your preference and go ride!
