CHECK OUT THE T.E.M.P.O.

The T.E.M.P.O. is made for those who like to ride endlessly. Ultra-efficient and full of character, it offers 125mm of rear travel with a 140mm fork. Perfect for lapping climbs, it is dynamic on hilly single track and brings confidence on descents. This is possible thanks to our new virtual pivot kinematic which unlocks the full potential of the bike.

As Mike Kazimer from the Pinkbike says:
The T.E.M.P.O. is a trail bike in the truest sense of the term, well suited to spinning out the miles while also goofing off and hitting every lip and landing possible.

COMMENCAL T.E.M.P.O. LTD PURE WHITE

This LTD Edition of the T.E.M.P.O. goes further in terms of exclusivity, notably with exceptional rolling power from DT SWISS and an ultra-precise drivetrain.

The FOX 34 Factory fork offers excellent compromise between weight and stiffness. We chose the version that features the GRIP2 cartridge with its four hydraulic adjustment settings.

The internal characteristics of the Float DPS Factory rear shock are set by FOX, with our direction, to work in harmony with the kinematics of the T.E.M.P.O. You can adjust the compression three ways and fine-tune the sensitivity on the most open position.

SHIMANO takes care of braking with a pair of two-piston Deore XT M8100s. For better bike control and heat resistance, we chose the MT905 discs (203/180mm) equipped with Ice Tech Freeza aluminium fins.

SRAM provides the 12-speed X01 Eagle transmission with a copper finish for an exemplary look, in keeping with the other components of the build.

For maximum dynamism with a trail bike like the T.E.M.P.O. the quality of the wheels is essential. The sublime DT SWISS XMC 1501 Spline One wheelset takes control of the roll. The weight to performance to comfort ratio is the best. The freehub of the 240 EXP hubs and its 36-tooth crowns offer quick, straight forward, and reliable engagement. Assembled by hand, they do not warp and are impact resistant.

The MAXXIS Minion DHR II and Dissector tyres contribute to the performance of the wheels, while optimizing grip thanks to the MaxxGrip rubber on the front.

Size guide

What Size to Choose?

According to your riding style, choose a bike with a shorter Reach for more responsive and intuitive handling, or one with a longer Reach for more stability and confidence at high speeds. On a longer model, the front wheel is positioned farther forward, giving an enhanced feeling of security but at the expense of maneuverability and requiring more effort to move the bike.

Between Two Sizes?

When you find yourself between two sizes, the ideal solution is to test ride both to see which fits you best. Unfortunately, this isn't always possible. At minimum, check the Reach and Stack measurements of your current bike to compare them with those of the model you're considering. This will give you a better idea of which size to choose and how the position will feel once on the bike. You can also follow the advice below.

Morphology

Body proportions vary from person to person, even at identical heights. If you have long legs and a shorter-than-average torso, you might consider choosing a bike with a shorter Reach than the recommended size. Conversely, if you have long arms and a more developed upper body, the larger size might be better suited to your morphology. Ideally, you should try before you choose.
