Sylvain ANDRÉ can boast of having one of the finest track records in French BMX. 2018 World Champion, double World Cup Champion, finalist at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, French Champion multiple times; Sylvain is still competing at major events. His arrival at COMMENCAL began with a great story, where at the 4X World Championships in Val di Sole in 2021, he took the start aboard an ABSOLUT. What followed was a discussion with Max and a move to act on an idea... That was the start of the COMMENCAL BMX PROJECT! In his first season with us, Sylvain won the 2022 World Cup and took a fourth French Championship title in a row. He is joined in the BMX Project team by Dutch BMXer, Laura SMULDERS, both with a common goal: Paris 2024. The result? A historic French hat-trick and a silver medal for Sylvain.
