Sylvain ANDRÉ boasts one of the finest résumés in French BMX: 2018 World Champion, double World Cup winner, Tokyo 2020 Olympic finalist, and multiple-time French Champion. His arrival at COMMENCAL came through a happy coincidence at the 4X World Championships in Val di Sole in 2021, where he lined up on an ABSOLUT. A conversation with Max soon followed, sparking the idea of building something together. The COMMENCAL BMX PROJECT was born. In his very first season with us, Sylvain took the 2022 World Cup and a fourth straight French Elite Champion title. Dutch star Laura Smulders soon joined the team, with Paris 2024 as the shared goal. What followed was historic: a French hat-trick in Paris and a silver medal! Relentless as ever, Sylvain has already set his sights on one final mission - Los Angeles 2028.
