The ASSEGAI is one of the best known Maxxis tyres. Often praised for its grip, it is a tyre that is placed more on the front in favour of a better roller on the back.

This version has a 60 TPI casing reinforced with the EXO+ protective layer on the sidewalls. This type of casing limits damage caused by the perils of rough ground, rocks, roots. The Butyl insert in the bead protects the tyre against punctures while also protecting the rim.

With 3C MAXXGRIP rubber there is no doubt about the grip. The tyre holds perfectly on all types of terrain and that has made it one of the world benchmarks in terms of MTB front tyres.

The Wide Trail construction optimises the position of the tyre and its efficiency on modern rims (30 to 35 mm internal width). This contributes to better grip and roll.
