The Minion DHR II needs no introduction. This aggressive tyre has delighted many riders with enlarged DHF-derived rubber knobs that provide superior cornering traction. The central tread has bevelled knobs in two strips which promote acceleration through corners. They also contribute to braking efficiency by anchoring themselves to the ground during sudden braking.
The DH 2x120 TPI casing is fitted with a Butyl rubber insert from the bead to the sidewall. This process limits the risk of punctures and protects the rim against impacts.
The use of MAXXTERRA rubber makes perfect sense for enduro tyres, especially on the rear wheel. This three-component rubber is a very good compromise between traction, rolling and resistance to wear. Ideal for pedal-filled enduro trail adventures.
The Wide Trail construction optimises the position of the tyre and its efficiency on modern rims (30 to 35mm internal width). This contributes to better grip and roll.
